Hugh Freeze Coaching Record At Ole Miss

Freeze Wins First Game as Ole Miss Head Coach

Returning to the SEC

Hugh Freeze, the Ole Miss Rebels head football coach, emerged victorious in his first game at the helm, marking his triumphant return to the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Freeze, who previously held assistant coaching positions at Ole Miss, is now leading the Rebels into a new era of SEC football.

Proven Experience

Freeze boasts an impressive 69-32 career college coaching record and a 39-25 mark specifically at Ole Miss. During his last four seasons at Liberty University, Freeze guided the Flames to remarkable success, including a 10-1 record in 2020. His proven coaching abilities have generated high expectations for the Ole Miss program.

Assistant to Head Coach

Prior to his current role, Freeze served as an assistant coach at Ole Miss from 2006 to 2007 under head coach Ed Orgeron. He then pursued head coaching positions at Arkansas State University and Liberty University, where he achieved significant accolades. Freeze's familiarity with the SEC landscape will undoubtedly benefit Ole Miss in their competitive conference.
